The Early Writing screener is a simple developmental check for children age 3 years old. It checks if they can distinguish between two symbolic language systems, a key early literacy milestone. It also identifies if the child needs to be taught symbolic systems, and may provide an early indicator of additional learning needs.
The screener can be used at home or in an early years setting. It comes with instructions how to complete the assessment and upload it to our portal.
